Machine Room Requirements (Georgia)
Georgia Elevator Machine Room Specifications (PDF) - Machine room is only required for Georgia elevator building codes. Not required in TN / NC / SC / AL. Adjustable based on house layout.
Elevator Drawings
In-Line Openings (PDF)- Elevator Doors align on each floor. Elevator cab has 1 opening
Pass-Through Openings (PDF)- “Front and Rear” - Elevator Doors are on opposite sides on each floor. Elevator cab has 2 openings
Adjacent Openings (PDF)- “Front and Side” - Elevator Doors are adjacent on each floor. Elevator cab has 2 openings
